Answer: Cupping, or myofascial decompression, is a great technique for working with the fascia. It reduces muscle tension and enhances circulation to the area, allowing the body to heal areas of congestion or trigger points. Cupping typically leaves marks on the skin, but the marks themselves are not painful or a sign of injury. The marks are a sign that your body has received some help to heal itself. Feel free to ask your therapist for more information.
